These Terms of Service govern your use of www.BlessingPartners.com and any service offered through it, including the payment page and the contact forms. The site is operated by Blessing Partners, Inc., a District of Columbia corporation with a business office at 712 H Street NE, Suite 1005, Washington, DC 20002. In these terms, we and us mean Blessing Partners, Inc., and you means the person using the site.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Who these terms cover
The site is not an offer or a lease
Information on this site about a property, a rent amount, availability, or terms is provided for general information. It is not an offer, a reservation, or a lease, and it does not create a landlord and tenant relationship. Rights and obligations between a resident and Blessing Partners, Inc. arise only from a signed written lease and, where a subsidy applies, from the associated Housing Assistance Payments contract.
Where the site and a signed lease disagree, the signed lease controls.
Eligibility and accurate information – Terms of Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to submit an inquiry, an application, or a payment. Information you give us through the site must be accurate and complete. Submitting false information in connection with a rental application or a payment may result in denial of the application, termination of a tenancy as permitted by law, and referral to appropriate authorities.
4.
Payments
Payments made through this site are processed by Stripe, Inc. under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number, bank account number, or security codes. Blessing Partners, Inc. is the merchant of record and will appear on your statement.
You are responsible for paying the correct amount. A payment made through this site is applied to the account it identifies. If the payment cannot be matched to an account, we will contact you at the email you provide. Failed, reversed, or returned payments may carry a fee to the extent your lease and District law permit. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation policy.
You agree not to use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to access another person's account or information, to scrape or harvest data by automated means, or to submit malicious code. You also agree not to submit content that is unlawful, threatening, or infringing.

8.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and current but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page is free of error. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site, and may update these terms, at any time. Material changes take effect when posted with a new date at the top of this page. Nothing in these terms limits any obligation Blessing Partners, Inc. owes a resident under a lease, under the District of Columbia housing code, or under any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law permits, Blessing Partners, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid to us through the site in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater. Some limitations may not apply where District law does not permit them.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Blessing Partners, Inc. harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of law or of another person's rights.
12.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from the site or these terms shall be brought in the courts of the District of Columbia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from bringing a matter within the jurisdiction of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Landlord and Tenant Branch or from filing a complaint with a government agency.
Severability and entire agreement
If a provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation policy, and Accessibility & Fair Housing statement, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
